Good evening all

Hope everyone is well and staying safe during this current situation we all find ourselves in.

Due to the Covid pandemic all the GGD Test for the 2020 season have unfortunately had to be cancelled and with the Galloway Country Fair also being cancelled this year we find the Test season a write-off.

The Club office and Committee members will hold a meeting later this year (when it's safer to do so) to discuss going forward with the club and 2021 events.  Once that meeting has taken place I will get in contact with your all via this page and the website to advise what happens next.

For anyone that already paid their membership fee for the 2020 season, please be advised that this will be transferred to 2021.  This also applies to any new members that have sent their membership form into Andy Gray along with membership payment.

**** IMPORTANT NOTICE ****

Dear Susan,

It is with regret that I am writing to you to let you know that we have taken the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Galloway Country Fair.

At a time such as this, however, the safety and wellbeing of those involved and local communities must be prioritised. We have a duty of care to protect the most vulnerable and continuing with the Fair would not allow us to do this.

The team at Drumlanrig Castle pride themselves in the quality of Galloway Country Fair and we look forward to welcoming you again next year, when Galloway Country Fair is scheduled to take place on 21st and 22nd August 2021.

It’s with a very heavy heart and great sadness that we have to announce the death of our much loved friend and former Chairman Mr Cameron Watt.

He died at home on Tuesday 28th May 2019 surrounded by his loving family.
